The administration further explained that the attack unfolded in multiple waves, with air raid warnings persisting for over five hours, creating a sense of prolonged terror and chaos.

Initial reports from the Kyiv Regional Military Administration claimed that over 40 Russian drones were successfully destroyed by Kyiv's air defense systems. However, following the destruction of the drones, debris rained down on a seven-story building in the Golosiivskii district, resulting in one fatality and several injuries.

In addition to the human casualties, a massive fire erupted in a warehouse zone, sending flames soaring 1,000 meters into the sky and claiming another life. The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, informed that in the Solomianskii area, a 41-year-old man lost his life, while a 35-year-old woman sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.
