Vivo, a leading smartphone manufacturer, has unveiled its latest addition to the Vivo V-Series in the global market. The newly introduced smartphone is called the Vivo V29 Lite, which is the first device from the Vivo V29 Series to be unveiled to the public. In terms of appearance and specifications, the Vivo V29 Lite is essentially a "twin" of the global version of the Vivo Y78. This means that both phones share the exact same display and capabilities, with no differences between them. Just like the Vivo Y78, the standout feature of the Vivo V29 Lite lies in its curved display, which curves on the left and right sides.
The display, typically found in premium Vivo smartphones, boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD Plus resolution (2,400 × 1,080 pixels), a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a maximum screen brightness of 1,300 nits. Located in the middle top of the screen is a punch-hole module that houses the 16 MP (f/2.0) selfie camera. Moving on to the rear camera setup, the Vivo V29 Lite is equipped with three rear cameras housed in a square module. These cameras include a 64 MP main camera (with OIS), a 2 MP macro lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor. Under the hood, the Vivo V29 Lite is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset, paired with 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage, and a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 44-watt fast charging support. On the software front, the Vivo V29 Lite runs on the Android 13 operating system with the FuntouchOS 13 user interface.
The Vivo V29 Lite shares several other features with the Vivo Y78, including 5G connectivity, NFC, an in-display fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and a 3.5mm audio jack. In the global market, the Vivo V29 Lite is available in two color variants: black and gold. The phone will be available for purchase from mid-June at a price of 8,500 Czech koruna, which is equivalent to around Rp 5.7 million. Please note that there is no information available yet on whether this phone will be sold in the Indonesian market. We will have to wait and see.
